INSTALLATION POSITIONS
As a link conveyor system, LS Link can be used both vertically and horizontally. This makes it perfect for many applications. In vertical alignment, the chain links can handle process forces of up to 1,000 N.

LINK LENGTHS
At 454 millimeters, the frame of the link conveyor system from WEISS always has the same width. This increases plant manufacturer flexibility, since LS Link is available with link lengths of 80, 100, 125 and 150 millimeters.

SYSTEM LENGTHS & HARSH ENVIRONMENTS
Thanks to its modular design, LS Link can be up to 15 meters long. The transport chain can be divided, which makes transporting the system and assembling it on site easier. Upon request and depending on the use case, LS Link can be adapted to applications in harsh environments or clean rooms.

DRIVE MODULE
Drive wheels and eight bearings per chain link ensure zero backlash in all directions (x, y and z). Combining the drive system and transport chain results in an overall system with extremely high precision.

BOLTS SUPPORTED IN BEARINGS
Inserted bolts ensure maximum reliability and smooth running when the transport chain is in motion. Their design is significantly more stable than those used in comparable systems, and they are supported in needle bearings.

GUIDES ON THE INSIDE
In the standard version of LS Link, the link conveyor system, extra guides enable high process forces and support exact positioning with zero backlash in the Z direction.

GUIDED REDIRECTION
An optional extra guide in the links makes it possible to locate process stations in the drive and redirection module. This extends the usable area and in turn, increases efficiency.

HIGH PROCESS FORCES
In vertical alignment, the guide concept enables high process forces of up to 1,000 Newton to be accepted. This is particularly an advantage for clipping components, pressing operations or joining processes.

HIGH WORKPIECE WEIGHTS
Thanks to the bearing and guide concepts, the workpiece carriers of the linear transport system in vertical alignment can be loaded with up to 50 kilograms.
